B. Braun Medical Irvine, CA

B. Braun retained Barnard Ventures to assist in the disposition of 22 acres and an 88,000-square-foot office building while protecting B. Braun’s interests in its remaining 28 acres of land and one-half million-square-foot manufacturing plant. Services included three lot line adjustments; administrative relief from the City parking ordinance; design, permitting and construction of two parking lots totaling 700 stalls; the subdivision of one parcel into nine parcels; City approval of a master plan; the relocation of several major utilities; design and construction of a 12,000-square-foot mezzanine and 24,000 square feet of offices; the design, permitting, demolition and rebuild of an existing cafeteria, auditorium and lobby; and extensive coordination of legal documents related to the sales, mapping, easements, and entitlements. An existing 88,000-square-foot building was also separated from the plant and sold with land subsequently improved with parking lots. Four additional sales transactions were managed jointly with the marketing team, and BV reviewed the buyer’s proposed building plans on behalf of B.Braun.
